About UTSCC property maintenance:
The property is kept up totally through voluntary services. Members of groups meeting at the center are expected to pick up after themselves; arrange the chairs as they were found; dispose of papers, pop cans and cigarette ashes and be sure not to leave litter in the parking lot.
In addition, volunteers vacuum floors, scrub fixtures, replace bath and kitchen supplies and fix broken fixtures and equipment Outdoors the yard needs to be kept mowed in the summer, walks shoveled in the winter, and the parking lot maintained. Painting and carpentry parties are held periodically to maintain the property.
The center always needs people who like to clean, paint and fix things. Check the volunteer page if you are available to help in maintenance projects.
